Course Description: Examine and apply analytic approaches that encompass the full range of types of qualitative data. This course provides students with opportunities to apply new skills and knowledge related to their interests, including critique and dissemination of qualitative reports.

Other considerations: By the end of this course, the learner will be able to: 1) Critically analyze selected qualitative analytic methods. 2) Critique different methods of qualitative data analysis using a qualitative software program. 3) Critique qualitative research proposals. 4) Develop a qualitative research proposal pertaining to a health related phenomenon in an area of Interest. 5) Develop an abstract and poster for a proposed qualitative study.
