Course Description: Excellence in healthcare requires understanding of economic, social and political forces in organizations that impact policy and decision-making in health care delivery systems related to quality improvement and clinical outcomes. This course focuses on theory, methods, and tools of quality improvement by patient care leaders and health services administrators to improve patient care and outcomes, reduce waste, and lower costs. Previous or current experience in the Healthcare Delivery system is recommended.
