Pre-requisites: Philosophy of science or equivalent and early doctoral level methods course highly preferred as pre-requisites. While not required, a foundational level qualitative research methods course is helpful.
Course Description: Introduces a range of qualitative interpretive approaches to research. Selected topics reflect philosophies, strategies, and methods faculty use in their own research and student interests. Student papers reflect critical analysis of traditional and emerging qualitative interpretive research approaches.
Method of Instruction: Blended online with one week intensive in Aurora in early September. Online portion uses Blackboard platform. Seminar format.
