Course Description: This course provides a theoretical foundation for advanced geriatric health care focusing on syndromes specific to the older adult population. Theory building strategies are used to identify risk and to develop treatment and interventional models for the management of geriatric syndromes. Social, cultural, and contextual issues will be identified and integrated as related to geriatric syndromes.
