Pre-requisites:
Course Description: Central issues involved in promoting healthful behavior and quality of life among older adults are explored and bring together the influences and contributions of theory, research, and practice as applied in gerontological health promotion and wellness. Content includes health promotion and wellness programming, the theoretical foundations of behavior change, lifelong learning and development, and relevant research findings pertaining to the health and well-being of older adults.
