Pre-requisites: NUR 670: Curriculum Development or equivalent.
Course Description: This course critically examines accreditation standards, the regulatory environment, legal and ethical issues, administrative systems, leadership requirements, technological infrastructure, human resources, cultural sensitivity, learner centered strategies and future trends related to education planning, production, implementation and evaluation for nursing education in academic or practice settings. A faux grant proposal requesting funding for a non-credit program frames a comprehensive investigation of producing a program for health professionals.
